Front & Back Office Assistant at Integrative Medicine Acupuncture Clinic
Approximately 30 Hours per Week, Some Saturdays Required
Are you a responsible and outgoing individual with a passion for holistic healthcare? Our Integrative Medicine Acupuncture Clinic is seeking a dynamic person to join our team as a Front and Back Office Assistant. This is a part-time position offering approximately 30 hours per week, with some Saturday availability required. The role offers the opportunity to work in both administrative and clinical settings.
Responsibilities:
Front Office:
o Greeting and checking in patients in a welcoming and professional manner
o Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments, data entry
o Assisting with new patient inquiries, gathering necessary information, and directing them through the intake process
o Managing patient records and ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date
o Assisting with insurance verifications and obtaining necessary authorizations for treatments and services
o Communicating with insurance providers to confirm coverage and resolve any issues
Back Office:
o Assisting healthcare practitioners with patient intake and documentation
o Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are stocked and organized
o Managing inventory and ordering supplies
o Maintaining a clean and safe environment for both staff and patients
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills and a positive, approachable demeanor
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Prior experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred, but not required
Experience with insurance verification and prior authorization processes is a plus
Schedule:
Approximately 30 hours per week
Some Saturdays required (typically 1-2 Saturdays per month)
Benefits:
$21-23 per hour based on experience
