I am looking for a Personal Assistant to help me with all that is on my plate. I am terminally ill so most of my daily activities I need help due to my lack of energy. I am looking for a female for this position. Below is an example of all the things that you could be asked to do during your shift but just remember every day and every shift are very different.
-arrive to my house around 7am
-take my daughter to school (different times every day of the week)
-when you get back to the house you and I will usually sit down and have a meeting about the days goals
-swap out my fluid tubing
-make new food if the formula is empty.
-this is the time of day that you will be able to help me with various projects around the house; organizational projects, help me with my art projects, assist me during my private art lessons, and many other projects and errands that I may need
-light cleaning if needed
-laundry (there is always laundry in my house!)
-help with mid-day medication which goes in G/J feeding tube
-take me to doctors appointments
-learn how to administer rescue meds if needed when we are together
-errands such as grocery store, art store, weed shop, pharmacy, Starbucks
-help with my dog; feed him in the morning and evening
-companionship for me! (just looking for a new awesome friend)
Everything that you are asked to do you will be trained. We understand that a lot of the medical stuff ie working with a central line and a feeding tube are things that most people do not know. We don'y care about that. We care about fining a hard working individual that gets a long with me and our daughter. We will train you and we are very patient. We have trained many of my personal assistants/caretakers in the past. It takes about 3-6 months to really get it all down so please apply if you are a hardworking person with a beautiful soul. We do not mind training people for the healthcare part of the job
-Even though pay is based on experience we absolutely will give raises as the person learns
-Hours are flexible. We need someone here from 7am-7pm Monday-Saturday. Obviously we know 1 person can not fill all these hours which is why as we hire each person we will do everything we can to accommodate the hours that work for you as we work to fill all the hours up that we need. My husband works from home as well so all in all we are pretty flexible when it comes to hours and days that you want to work.
