We are seeking a Vietnamese detail-oriented and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe, effective, and appropriate use of medications while providing exceptional care and guidance to patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
Dispensing & Verification
Accurately prepare, review, and dispense prescription medications in Vietnamese.
Verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
Patient Care & Counseling
Provide clear instructions in Vietnamese on medication use, side effects, and storage.
Offer guidance in Vietnamese on over-the-counter medications and general health concerns.
Clinical & Safety Oversight
Monitor patient medication therapies for effectiveness and safety.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans.
Report and manage adverse drug reactions and medication errors.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records and controlled substance documentation.
Operational Support
Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and interns.
Manage inventory, including ordering, storage, and disposal of medications.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy.
Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
Active pharmacist license in California.
