This is an energetic contract to the universe, intended to create an opportunity to connect with special people. Some of you reading this might have replied to one of my previous ads. Some of you might've even come out for an interview and for whatever reason it didn't work out. I would like to thank everybody for participating in the wild ride I call life, even if it was just a two line response to some random ad of digital pixels on the Interweb.
For those that know the (Caregiver) profession, quadriplegic care is known to be an intense experience. The only thing I think more difficult than caring for a person in this position, is actually being in this position needing help. On top of the difficulties of living in a wheelchair, maintaining relationships with care professionals has been another overwhelming experience.
I've been lied to. Stolen from. Left by myself for hours upon hours, in bed waiting for somebody to come that never came. I've had a (Caregiver) crash my car, brake my shower chair, hijack my contacts to try and sell them Cutco knives. I can go on and on. So for those of you reading this that have interviewed or worked with me that have ill opinions of how things ended up I'm sorry. I'm grateful you gave your best effort and I appreciate you.
As of today, right now, I really need help. The person that was working with me for the last year and a half secured another job that was an incredible opportunity for him. He was working the shift that I'm advertising (which is 5 AM to 11 AM Monday through Friday in Dana Point) but was also working the weekends because I was having trouble finding weekend care. His job only gave him a couple of days to start and if he couldn't start when they needed him to, they were gonna hire somebody else.
I'm between a rock and a hard place. I need weekend care and I also need somebody to fill the Monday through Friday week shift.
This posting though is for the Monday through Friday 5 AM to 11 AM (Caregiver) shift in Dana
What's required:
I need somebody with high integrity that can show up on time with a good attitude. I need this person to understand what I'm trying to live through is close to impossible. I can only do it with somebody special to help.
The details:
I need (Caregiver) help Monday through Friday at 5 AM to 11 AM at my place in Dana Point.
The pay is $25 an hour cash. Payday is biweekly via an agreed digital platform (Apple Pay, Venmo, Cash app)
This is a contracted position and I'm looking for somebody to commit to this job for three months.
At the end of three months when things go exceptionally well, we can renegotiate a new contract. (don't stress. It's nothing serious. The contract is just to hold both of us accountable to what we say we're gonna do).
The specifics:
I need help getting up out of bed. Taking this job will mean that you are staple to my success.
I need help showering, using the restroom, help getting dressed, and a few other personal care necessities.
I need help right away. I'm looking to hire somebody in the next couple of days. Respond to this ad via email with contact information so that we can do a phone interview. Please leave an active number and I will most likely text you shortly after I receive your email. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for those of you that respond, I look forward to connecting with you.
