We are a long established family-oriented general dentist office looking for a friendly, professional and motivated registered dental assistant to join our practice. Our dental office has been established for over 40 years with generations of loyal patients, along with staff members who have been with us for over 10-25 years.
Our long time assistant is retiring and we are Seeking a Full Time/Part Time Registered Dental Assistant for 4-days (Mon-Thur) and someone for the long term.
Experience is preferred and Dental X-ray license required.
Responsibilities include: greeting patients in the dental office, setting up instruments, equipment and materials, sterilizing instruments according to regulations, assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry, fabricating temporary crowns, undertaking lab tasks as instructed, providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions, ordering dental supplies, keeping the dental room clean and well-stocked, and other tasks as assigned
The ideal candidate: would have knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods, understanding of health & safety regulations, have the ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing, good computer skills, Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, well-organized and reliable
