Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic dental office and contribute to the overall oral health of our patients.
Duties:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
- Take dental x-rays
- Assess patients' oral health and provide oral hygiene instructions
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Conduct screenings for oral cancer and other dental conditions
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care
Qualifications:
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in California
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Proficiency in infection control protocols and practices
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
- Experience with dental software systems (Dentrix) preferred
- 4 years experience preferred
Hours needed are 10am-7pm Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays 8am-4pm

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week

8 hour shift
Evening shift
Monday to Friday
