SUMMARY
This role will provide support for risk prevention, chemical compliance, site security, and floor-level safety culture integration. Weekly tasks are centered around prevention and improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the attainment of the organization's EHS goals
Assists with EHS program tasks and activities, including industrial hygiene, biosafety, ergonomics, process safety, environmental compliance, EHS inspections, fire protection, loss control, hazardous waste management, and assistance with EHS committees
Engages in open and honest dialogue with co-workers at all organizational levels to encourage a positive safety culture and establish a proactive approach to bringing forward issues, concerns, and suggestions
Performs and/or assists with new employee orientation for all applicable EHS topics
Provides and/or assists EHS training when required
Report progress on all activity and metrics across EHS centrally
Supports compliance projects as needed
Participate in scheduled physical security audits of door readers and other physical security devices
Monitor Closed Circuit Television, Access control, and Alarm monitoring systems as required
Oversees third-party vendors while on site
