We are seeking a talented & professional HR Specialist to join our team and monitor all Human Resources functions. This position provides support for the day-to-day administration of HR functions, & is responsible for preparing or updating employment records relating to employee changes. Ultimately, you will assist in fostering a healthy workplace by ensuring our HR procedures run smoothly at all times.

Responsibilities

Administer benefits programs

Collect and prepare documentation for performance review sessions

Inform employees about additional benefits they’re eligible for (e.g extra vacation days)

Update employee records with new hire information and/or changes in employment status

Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner

Answers and directs departmental phone calls

Conducts audits of human resources data to preserve its integrity and accuracy

Input, review and format human resources data for entry into the HR system and other related systems

Provides support to HR Business Partners for various HR functions including but not limited to onboarding paperwork and new hire orientation

Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements

Assist with processing employee status change forms

Monitors and responds to inquiries submitted in a timely manner

Partners with HR Department to assist with system enhancements and configurations

Generates custom and ad-hoc reporting

Other duties and special projects, as assigned

Skills

Proven work experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist

General understanding of labor legislation and payroll process

Familiarity with full cycle recruiting

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good problem-solving abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Highly organized and able to balance multiple priorities

Ability to operate general office equipment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to type 60 words a minute.

Ability to maintain confidential information

Bilingual (English/Spanish)
