JOB DESCRIPTION: We currently have entry level positions available with great opportunity to grow. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Independent Learning Services (ILS) Workers to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with various disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other unique learning needs. You will provide one-on-one support and assistance to help our clients develop essential life skills, foster independence, and achieve their personal goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ability to teach daily life skills
Develop and implement personalized learning plans based on individual client needs and goals.
Utilize evidence-based strategies and techniques to support clients with diverse learning needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other unique challenges.
Foster a positive and supportive environment that promotes independence, self-advocacy, and self-esteem.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, or other unique learning needs.
Ability to adapt teaching methods and approaches to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client.
Reliable, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Organizational skills are important for managing schedules, documentation, and resources effectively.
Bachelor's degree in special education, psychology, social work, rehabilitation counseling, or related field is preferred but not required
Problem-solving skills are valuable for addressing the diverse needs and challenges of clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver’s license
Have your own vehicle and cell phone
