Driver Job description
As our driver you will be asked to
- keep an eye on the maintenance of delivery vehicle (oil changes, Tire pressure, fluid levels and lights) notify management whenever something needs to be addressed
- take all invoices from the Production manager and route them in the most efficient way possible
-follow the laws of the road.
- Carefully load delivery vehicle with ALL items labeled on given invoices. Ensuring not to take anything that is not on an invoice. (This applies to Pick-ups and deliveries)
- properly fill out a route sheet with all information (name, date, invoice #s, material and property names,) and distribute it accordingly to everyone.
- go over all invoices thoroughly with customer before delivery is complete and signed for. (be sure to write name of individual that received order, if signature is not legible)
- be sure to note any brakes or faults on invoice and route sheet. Any broken items on delivery must be left on truck to ensure quick replacement turn around.
- not take any previously delivered product without a pick-up order or management approval.
- update contact information on invoice and phone if different.
- be sure to take no more than a 30 min. lunch break while doing deliveries
- turn in all invoices and route sheet to the office at the end of every day with all notes/information filled out.
-Will fill in as crew member for production when not occupied with deliveries or pick-ups
Job Requirements
-Must have a valid California drivers licence
-Must have a relatively clean driving record (print out will be requested)
-Must be able to pass a drug and background check
-Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
Job Pay- $15. to 20 depending on experiance
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
