Title: Full-Time House Manager & Family Assistant (w/ Meal Prep Support)

Compensation: $25–28/hour based on experience
Requirements: Non-smoker, pass background check, reliable transportation, CPR certified (preferred), Spanish-speaking a plus, authorized to work in the U.S.
Proposed Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (with some flexibility for occasional evenings/weekends as needed)
Description:
We are an active family of five (children ages 4.5, 2.5, and a newborn due in February) seeking a reliable and experienced House Manager & Family Assistant to help us manage our busy household. With no family nearby and a demanding schedule, we’re looking for someone who can step in as an extension of mom and bring structure, organization, and calm to our home.
This role is best suited for someone who is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and flexible with shifting needs. You should be equally comfortable handling household management, supporting childcare, and taking on errands or projects with minimal direction. Our ideal candidate is patient, kind, and reliable, with life experience that allows them to anticipate needs and take initiative without micromanagement.

Key Responsibilities:
Household Management & Organization
-Maintain household organization systems (closets, storage, pantry, toys).
-Reset and tidy rooms daily; prepare home for weekly cleaners.
-Manage household schedules and calendars.
-Handle seasonal swaps (clothing, décor, bedding).
-Prepare for family events or guests (about once every 6 weeks).
-Support packing/unpacking for frequent travel.
-Supervise vendors or service providers (handymen, landscapers, cleaners).
Inventory Management & Errands
-Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, and household supplies.
-Manage household orders (Amazon, Costco, Target, etc.).
-Run errands (grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping).
-Handle packages, mail organization, and deliveries.
Meal Planning & Preparation
-Prepare or plan healthy dinners 2–3 nights/week.
-Create weekly dinner plans and shop for groceries.
-Prep breakfasts, pack school lunches/backpacks, and keep snacks stocked.
-Maintain the kitchen by keeping it clean and organized after prep.
Laundry & Linen Care
-Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry (clothing, bedding, towels).
-Iron, steam, and prepare outfits as needed.
-Rotate bedding, refresh towels, and manage linens.
-Care for delicates and uniforms.
Pet Care
-Provide daily care for the family cat.
-Cat-sit while the family travels.
-Keep pet supplies stocked and organized.
Vehicle Management
-Schedule and oversee vehicle maintenance and inspections.
-Ensure vehicles are fueled, washed, and organized.
-Track registration, insurance, and service schedules.
Vendor & Property Oversight
-Schedule and supervise vendors (cleaners, contractors, landscapers).
-Support with ongoing home remodeling projects.
-Oversee outdoor spaces and seasonal maintenance.
-Serve as primary contact for vendors, deliveries, or guests.
Family Support & Child Assistance
-Assist with school pick-ups/drop-offs as needed.
-Provide light childcare, playtime, and supervision as needed (especially afternoons, occasional evenings/date nights).
-Prep backpacks, snacks, and school items.
-Provide newborn support alongside mom (after February).
Deep Cleaning & Special Projects
-Handle occasional deep cleaning (fridge, oven, baseboards).
-Organize special projects (toy storage, seasonal décor, gear rotation).
-Maintain humidifiers, washing machines, and other household systems monthly.
Administrative & Personal Assistant Support
-Assist with travel planning (hotels, flights, Airbnbs).
-Manage family calendars and reminders.
-Help with basic budgeting, receipt tracking, and bill payments.
-Support with event coordination and scheduling.
Additional Information:
-Full-time payroll position with health insurance and 401K benefits.
-This individual will use their own car for errands (mileage reimbursement provided) and family’s truck for children drop-off/pick-up as needed.
