A local golf course in San Clemente is seeking an entry-level Groundskeeper to join their team for the Summer. The schedule is Monday-Friday 5am-2pm and Friday 5am-11am and is expected to last 3 to 4 months (possibly longer). The pay is $18 to $20/hour, based on experience.
Groundskeeper Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of basic maintenance and upkeep of the golf course
Operate pneumatic devices and hand tools
Clean and maintain equipment
Edges, rakes, and maintains sand bunkers
Pull weeds around bushes, trees, and shrubs
Dig trenches, load and unload trucks
Maintain records and log of all work performed
Performs basic repairs and paints benches, tables and other items
Trims hedges and prunes trees and bushes using hand and power tools
Clean buildings and grounds
Water trees, greens and other areas
Must be able to:
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Perform heavy manual labor
Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, construction, and repair work of golf course grounds
Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time and in unfavorable weather conditions
Submit to and pass a background check & drug screen
