We are a food production facility looking for a QA tech.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform daily operation inspections consisting of monitoring process, testing product, sanitation verification, label checks, packaging verifications, allergen testing, and ATP testing. Includes performing microbiological and environmental testing.
Maintain accurate and organized records Calibrate test equipment.
Notify and consult with QA Manager on any deficiencies.
Daily, conduct pre-operation sanitation inspections and observe sanitation crew for efficiency in dispensing solutions.
Monitor and observe plant workers are in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety, job hazard analyst and other support areas to ensure work environment is safe, clean and productive.
Prepares CofA for customers. Ensures all non-conforming products are placed on hold and fully documented.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Minimum High School Degree. Preferred associates degree in Food Science or related sciences.
1+ years of experience in food manufacturing Quality Control
Knowledge of HACCP standards and GMP practices
Must have good math skills to calculate percentages and prepare reports
Proficient in the use of MS Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
