Join our landscaping team in San Juan Capistrano. This position is responsible for working as a team member under the direct supervision of a Crew Leader. The work varies each day but can include: vegetation management, weed removal, installing and maintaining plants, and installing and repairing irrigation systems.
The hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.This is a long-term, full-time position and starts at $19/hour.
Landscaper Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Operate a variety of equipment, including weed whackers, hand weeders, and backpack sprayers
Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions and exposure to elements, often on uneven terrain
Must have a High School diploma or GED
Position requires consistently moving, walking, stooping, and kneeling
Must be able to communicate in English
Punctual and dependable
Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing backgrounds, knowledge, and skill levels
Able to handle exposure to materials, tools, herbicides and equipment used in construction and landscaping
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening (company will consider qualified candidates with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the law)
