Job Summary
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair and preventative maintenance of our hotel’s physical plant, guest rooms, public areas, grounds and equipment. You will respond to guest and staff work orders, ensure that all systems are functioning properly, and help maintain a safe, clean and hospitable environment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems and hotel equipment.
Respond to guest maintenance issues and work requests in a timely, courteous and efficient manner.
Complete preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled (filter changes, lubrication, system checks, etc.).
Conduct general repairs: carpentry, painting, drywall, electrical fixture replacement, plumbing repair, and other building upkeep.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and to minimize disruption to operations.
Maintain accurate work order records, logs of repairs and inspections.
Assist with grounds and exterior maintenance when required.
Follow all safety policies and procedures, including those for guest areas and equipment operation.

Qualifications & Skills
High School diploma or equivalent (required).
Minimum of 1-2 years of maintenance experience preferred (hotel experience a plus).
Practical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, painting and general building maintenance.
Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs regularly, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, bend, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact positively with guests, vendors and staff.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Valid driver’s license preferred.
