POSITION SUMMARY:
Compensation - $20.00+ per hour
Benefits - Health Insurance, 2 weeks paid vacation per year, 8 paid holidays per year
This is a full-time position. Hours are 9pm - 5:30am. The Production Associate is responsible for the timely execution of production orders given by the Production Manager. We are seeking a full-time Production Associate that will play a key role in manufacturing a variety of products using many different types of machines at our facility. We are looking for somebody who can handle change and can excel despite the frequent re-prioritization of tasks.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting the Production Manager with the following:
- Processing received raw materials
- Learning to operate the wire machines (stranding, stress relieving, coating, spooling)
- Straightening and cutting wire (guidelines will be taught)
- Packaging, labeling, and stocking products
- Fulfilling and shipping customer orders
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & TRAITS:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience with manufacturing machines/tools (WIRE AND CABLE / SPRING MAKING SKILLS A PLUS)
- Organized & detail oriented
- Ability to take on large list of tasks & prioritize & reprioritize quickly
- Intermittent physical activity including bending, reaching and prolonged periods of sitting
- Ability to occasionally lift 5-40 pounds
