Job Description:
Active Restoration is seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to handle drywall installation and finishing tasks on both residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in taping, mudding, sanding, and smoothing drywall surfaces, ensuring the best possible finish for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply finishing coats of joint compound to drywall seams and nail/screw holes.
Tape and mud drywall joints to ensure proper coverage and a smooth, even finish.
Sand drywall surfaces between coats to achieve a flawless, level surface.
Inspect surfaces for imperfections and perform touch-ups as needed to maintain high-quality standards.
Cut and shape drywall to fit around corners, doors, windows, and other fixtures.
Collaborate effectively with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a drywall finisher or in a similar role.
Strong working knowledge of drywall finishing tools, materials, and techniques.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail with strong hand-eye coordination.
Physical stamina to lift and maneuver drywall sheets and tools.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
