Eastridge Workforce Solutions has partnered with a Leading Air Carbon/Plastic Manufacturing company headquartered in Huntington Beach CA, has an opening for an organized and motivated Shipping and Receiving Associate to join their growing team. This is a Long Term Opportunity.
Shift: 8am-4:30am
Pay: $21-23/hr DOE
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Receive, count stock items, and record data manually or using a computer.
Preparing products inside and out to prepare for shipment to our customers.
Verify inventory by comparing it to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies and /or adjust errors.
Verify the Quality and Description of materials received by checking merchandise against the packing slip.
Store Items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse
Prepare outgoing shipments to vendors and customers.
General Maintenance within the warehouse and dock areas
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Ability to multitask, yet focus on specific projects, meeting established deadlines.
Commitment to SAFETY
Can Safely Operate a Forklift, either Stand-Up or Sit-down Type (must have)
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong Communication skills
Attention to detail.
Ability to lift over 70lbs repetitively.
Forklift certification
Experience using a Pallet Jack.
General Understanding of the Warehouse Footprint
Familiarity with Chemical Handling receiving
