We are expanding our residential solar installation teams to keep up with the mounting demand and are looking for experienced residential (PV) solar system installers.
Desired Candidate
Experienced DC Residential Solar PV Installer.
PV installers will be responsible for entire installation. You will be responsible for assembly of the PV system, solar array, roofing and panel framing. Safe work practices and excellent communication skills are essential.
What you will do:
Layout assembly and installation of solar array and mounting hardware
Assist with the (DC) wiring of all solar products (inverters etc)
Prepare Job site
Pull materials for each installation job
Provide an exceptional customer experience to all customers throughout the installation process
Interact with the customer with a professional appearance and attitude.
Desired Qualities:
Strong knowledge and usage of Hand tools/power tools
Knowledge of electrical components, read project plans
Team player
No fear of heights, comfortable on ladders, ability to lift heavy objects, Climbing, squatting, reaching, bending
Necessary Skills and Experience:
Experience with conduit bending and installation, DC troubleshooting and repair
Working knowledge of construction and/or roofing
Ability to safely handle tools and materials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc.
Great work ethic and punctual
Ability to work well with others in a team structure
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Positive attitude
Comfortable working on roofs, in high or tight areas, pride in workmanship
Experience: minimum 6mo
