We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Wood Framer based in the city of Anaheim to join our dynamic team and contribute to our tradition of exceptional craftsmanship, by producing high-quality photographic prints and custom framing solutions.
Schedule: M-F; Weekends as needed; $16-$17.50
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Frame Construction: Build custom wood frames for photographic prints, ensuring precision and attention to detail in every piece.
Material Selection: Choose appropriate wood types and finishes to match client specifications and enhance the aesthetic appeal of the prints.
Cutting and Assembly: Accurately measure, cut, and assemble frame components using various woodworking tools and machinery.
Quality Control: Inspect completed frames for defects, ensuring all frames meet the company’s high standards of quality and durability.
Collaboration: Work closely with the design and production teams to understand project requirements and deliver frames that meet or exceed client expectations.
Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of framing materials, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Proven experience as a wood framer, preferably in a professional photographic printing or custom framing setting.
Skills: Proficiency in woodworking tools and machinery, strong attention to detail, and excellent craftsmanship.
Knowledge: Understanding of different wood types, finishes, and framing techniques.
Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Creativity: A keen eye for design and aesthetics, with the ability to enhance the visual appeal of photographic prints through custom framing solutions.
