Orange County Immigration and criminal defense law office seeks a fluent Spanish-speaking paralegal or legal assistant to assist the office with client correspondence, document translation, document requests, court and USCIS filing preparation, consular processing applications, interpreting, account payments, and other administrative functions.
Experience is not required, but preferred. Unless you are confident that you are a quick learner and a self-starter. This is a fast-paced office and you will learn a great deal.
The position requires punctuality, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to type at least 40 wpm. Please be comfortable with typing professional letters, using previously drafted templates.
Experience with Consular Processing DS-260's, NVC communication, Court Filings, or USCIS applications would be a bonus!
Applicants should possess their own vehicle/ reliable transportation as this position may require some driving.
The office recently moved from Los Angeles to Orange County. The new office location is located at 3001 Redhill Avenue, Costa Mesa CA 92626.
