Our Marketing Agency in Irvine, California is seeking a new, full-time Social Media Coordinator.
This position can be fully remote or partially remote with one in-office day per week.
What we need:
Someone who loves monitoring, interacting, drafting and publishing content on various social media platforms while also growing relevant audiences/followings.
Responsibilities:
>Draft compelling captions across social media platforms and client accounts with a heavy emphasis on B2B content for LinkedIn.
>Schedule and publish content to appropriate platforms across client accounts.
>Generate and use hashtags appropriately by platform; learn and successfully use relevant hashtags for client industries.
>Maintain a deep understanding and ongoing learning of the latest social media trends, algorithms, best practices and all available features within each platform and how those are utilized.
>Make suggestions on how content will be best posted/published to achieve intended result.
>Maintain annual content calendars across client accounts.
>Ability to work cross functionally with pr, content, and production departments to align social media efforts with broader messaging and ensure a consistent presence across client accounts.
>Assist with tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs).
>Strategically engage with others on each social media platform. This includes:
>>>monitoring social media channels for mentions, trends and opportunities for engagement.
>>>interacting and responding to posts and comments timely and appropriately (with help from our content team).
>>>escalating any negative comments to our team immediately and working with our team to obtain and implement appropriate responses.
>>>finding followers that match our clients’ target audiences and engaging with their content (i.e. liking their posts or commenting with help from our content team).
Requirements:
>Experience in a Social Media Coordinator or similar role running/managing business accounts on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
>Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
>Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g. Zoho, Hootsuite, Later).
>Professional experience in a business-to-business work environment.
>Passion for social media; enjoyment of this kind of technical work.
>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
>Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to work under deadlines.
Bonus Qualifications
>Experience in content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
>Creative thinking and ability to come up with innovative ideas.
>Experience in social media metrics reporting.
