Builder Media a 35 year-old media publishing company is hiring for a Graphic Designer position.
We are seeking a creative individual to join us in our Newport-based location. In this role, you will be working within the Art Department and communicating with the Editorial and Sales teams to help publish a variety of magazines.
Responsibilities include designing layouts, editing photos, making creative advertisements and mock-up promotions, creating media kits, laying out magazines, optimizing files for web and print production, and working with offsite professionals to organize online content. Individuals with reliable transportation, professional experience, and a professional demeanor are encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
BA in graphic design OR at least two or more years of professional design experience.
Extensive Knowledge of Magazines, Catalogs, Multi Page Documents, Style Sheets, Adobe Creation, InDesign and Illustrator.
Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop Experience in managing websites A strong eye for detail Experience in a deadline-driven environment
Experience with WordPress.
