Small Aerospace Company looking for applicant to deburr aluminum parts.
We are a very stable company and have been in business since 1979.
Full Time responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform deburring/blending of precision aerospace parts using a wide variety of basic deburring and hand finishing tools, both electric and pneumatic such as die grinders, sanders and hand finishing tools and equipment.
Perform rework assignments as required.
Ensure all parts, paperwork and documentation is completed properly.
Inspect finished work to required specification.
Qualifications:
Must be a legal resident or a citizen of the USA to be eligible. We use E-Verify for confirmation.
1-3 years prior experience deburring metal components within the Aerospace industry is desired.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, blue prints, work instructions and use standard machine shop tools.
Must have good manual dexterity required to use a variety of deburring/blending tools and measuring devices.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. English proficiency is required.
Needs to be self-motivated and must be able to work independently on assignments with minimal oversight or direction.
Ability to interact effectively with supervision, management and customer representatives.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of basic shop math.
Demonstrated knowledge of workplace Health and Safety requirements.
Ability to work overtime as required
MUST be familiar with tools/machines such as dye grinders, edge scrapers and bandsaws. You will be tested on how you operate some of the above listed tools. Be honest on your level of ability. Through this test we will know if you have actual experience or not.
Special note: The successful applicant will be required to pass a drug test prior to gaining employment. You will be required to provide a US Government issued ID to the lab. If you don't have the ID, you will not be tested and cannot be hired. No exceptions.
Note: Employees are not permitted to smoke on company grounds, nor are "smoke breaks" allowed. A smoke break is defined as taking a break(s) in excess of those required by law.
Normal working hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm
Hourly rate depends on experience
