Full job description

Manufacturing Auxiliary Person in the plastic injection molding field will perform various manufacturing tasks in secondary assembly department and cleanroom in support of company goals, guidelines, and regulatory requirements to produce components by assembling parts and sub-assemblies.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Perform setup(s) and operate all types of injection molding auxiliary equipment used in the facility.

Assemble assigned product parts and sub-assemblies in accordance with production guidelines.

Assign operator(s) to work cells, train to work instructions and quality criteria for production.

Train operators on safe operation of auxiliary equipment

Perform spot checks of products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.

Notify management of quality, process, or product discrepancies and equipment malfunctions.

Monitoring and tracking of work order requirements as well as specific job-related documentation.

Report any mechanical machine malfunctions to Shift Supervisor and manufacturing engineer.

Report any Quality defects to Shift Supervisor and/or Quality Manager to ensure product quality.

Required to be able to train, track, and disposition inventory in the ERP/IQMS system.

Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.

Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with company procedures.

Obtains as needed materials, components, and supplies from storage locations per work order requirements.

Ensure that product assembled meets quality standards and rejects products outside of specifications.

Work as a team player to ensure the success of the department.

Perform other related duties as assigned and ability to work the day shift when required.

Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Maintain cleanroom environment in accordance with established procedures.
