Chemical Processor

The Manufacturing Team Member will mix composite material to specifications and train others in department and must meet the basic qualifications of the job description

Typical Duties

Powder processing, resin monomer mixing, high-loading composite formulation

Desire to learn new skills including new technologies and leadership skills

Cross-functional team player to participate in week-long kaizen projects

Cross-train into other positions to learn and support multiple aspects of the business

Perform routine preventative maintenance on production equipment

Accountable for results with minimal supervision

Self-driven abilities to improve cleanliness, safety, quality, delivery, and productivity

Process driven to follow and improve cGMP Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Maintain a clean work area for safe and efficient operation, including replenishment of supplies

Maintain accurate and detailed records on all production and maintenance work orders

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED.

1-2 years of industrial experience, or equivalent is a plus.

Abilities

Good communication in English (Reading, writing, and verbal)

Good troubleshooting abilities problem solving, analytical, systems thinking

Team player

Attention to detail including punctuality

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to follow instructions and guidelines set forth by Production Manager or Superiors

Ability to act independently and make the appropriate decisions with minimal supervision as necessary
