Alva Manufacturing is a fast-growing Aerospace Machine Shop located in city of Placentia currently supplying parts to Boeing Defense, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, and Raytheon. We utilize the latest CNC machining technologies including 5-axis Milling, Multi-Axis Turning, and Automated-Pallet Changing systems. Most of the products that we build here are flying to Space and to Mars. You can expect a family, true teamwork environment and a lot of room to grow and challenge yourselves. We recently added more CNC equipment and currently are looking for additional team members to grow.
We have two facilities, located in city of Placentia and Garden Grove. We are looking for additional team players to support the following roles:
- CNC Mill Machinists, 1st & 2nd shift (for Placentia Facility)
- CNC Lathe Machinist, 1st shift (for Garden Grove Facility)
- Precision Deburring/Finishing Technician (for Placentia Facility)
- Senior Buyer (For Placentia Facility)
1st shift: 7-3:30pm
2nd shift: 3:15-11:45pm
Following are the requirements for each position:
CNC MILL MACHINISTS: (1st&2nd shift)
- Must be familiar with Fanuc and Haas Control
- Must have experience in working with Aerospace parts requirement
- Have good understanding of GD&T
- Must be able to do own setup with minimal instructions
- Must be able to inspect own parts before submitting to Quality Inspection
- Experience with machining different material including Aluminum, Titanium, Stainless Steel
SENIOR BUYER:
- Direct and monitor the timely management of all Purchase Orders (Includes purchase price accuracy and dates)
- Assure the continued development and growth of assigned personnel through strong leadership
- Monitor vendor performance and ensures corrective actions are undertaken as necessary
- Review prices and expected delivery dates proposed by suppliers and choose the best valued bid to place order
- Track purchases from order placement until it arrives in-house
- Create and update vendor database files in the system in order to establish authorized vendor status
- Schedule pick-up/delivery with driver to assure products are flowing simultaneously
DEBURRING/FINISHING TECHNICIAN:
- Must be proficient using variety of hand tools such as grinder, benching wheel, deburring knives
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings
- Must be able to work on tight tolerance parts with high surface finish
- Familiar with different type of material including Titanium, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum.
