We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and setting up press brake machinery to produce parts according to specifications. Able to lift large sheets of metal, 75+ lbs. Will be trained on specific equipment, but would need to be able to work with minimal supervision. loud environment, lots of moving parts, pieces, equipment etc.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal plates
- Select correct tooling for the job task with setup documents or supervisor/lead assistance.
- Load, install and correctly set up the tools required with some assistance from supervisor/lead.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the appropriate bends and angles
- Perform quality checks on finished parts to ensure they meet specifications
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed for different jobs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Account for time and work completed
- Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and completed work.
- Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level
Requirements
- Proficiency in programming and setting up press brake machines
- Mechanical knowledge related to press brake operations
- Ability to use calipers and other measuring tools accurately
- Familiarity with machining processes such as CNC.
- Experience in blueprint reading
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work well in a fast paced environment to meet team expectations.
- Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge.
-Hours are 6:30AM-2:30PM
Must be able to work OT as needed
4 years of previous experience minimum
