Job Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for an experienced Machine Operator and Maintenance professional.
The position involves operating machinery, performing quality control checks, and utilizing hand tools for machines like V-Blenders. Capsule Machine, Tablet machine, Granulation machine, labelling machine, weighing scale .
$25 – $30 / hour DOE
Full-time : Monday – Friday: 10 am- 6:30pm
Must have 3-5 years of machinery operation and hand tool experience.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Fluent in reading and writing in English.
Knowing Vietnamese is a plus
Knowledge of quality control practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Load/unload and maintain the encapsulation machine.
Monitor encapsulation and tableting operation, promptly reporting any abnormalities to the manager and QC. Should be able to troubleshoot and fix the problem to keep the operation running smoothly.
Adhere to cGMPs, follow SOPs, and ensure on-time completion of scheduled production.
Read and follow detailed Batch Production Record instructions; complete associated documents.
Set up and operate equipment, adjusting settings during operation if necessary.
Disassemble and reassemble equipment, performing mold changes.
Verify equipment settings and molds before encapsulation.
Conduct in-process checks until the batch is complete (e.g., fill weight).
Collect and weigh capsule yields into containers using platform bench scales.
Calculate and record total theoretical capsule yield and actual yield.
Work with the Quality Department and Quality Control to perform quality checks on a daily basis.
Develop strong lines of communication with other co-workers to ensure plant efficiency.
Must wear appropriate gear: hairnets, gloves, hearing protection, masks, etc.
Perform other duties as needed.
Working Conditions:
Lift and carry up to 50lbs.
Stand for extended periods, stoop, bend, stretch, and reach.
Exposure to allergens (powders), odors, dust, or particles.
Tolerance for loud noise levels.
Schedule:
Potential for overtime.
On-site work, no remote options.
