Established CNC machine shop serving the commercial industry is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee daily shop operations.
Duties include:
Manage day-to-day operations of a CNC shop with 10 machinists
Schedule jobs, prioritize workflow, and meet delivery deadlines
Supervise, lead, and support machinists and shop personnel
Ensure quality standards, safety procedures, and efficient production
Coordinate with management on planning, staffing, and process improvements
Track shop performance and drive continuous improvement
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience in CNC machining/manufacturing
Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a machine shop
Strong knowledge of CNC mills and lathes (setups, tooling, processes)
Experience in job shop or commercial manufacturing environment
Reliable, organized, and able to lead from the shop floor
