We are looking to hire a Material Handler to oversee the put-away of received inventory into stock and ensure bin locations are replenished as needed. In this role you will oversee the stocking of raw materials and finished goods, problem-solve inventory discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory records that match physical stock levels. This role will work in tandem with our Warehouse Supervisor and Inventory Control Specialist to keep the receiving/shipping operation running smoothly. This position will be based out of our production facility and will report directly into the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor. We are looking for someone who is able to work second shift hours. (2pm-10:30pm at our Irvine location)

What You’ll Do:

- Unload and sort all inbound receivables, check packing list contents against carton contents, and ensure receiving documents are centrally stored

- Report quantity variances and/or inbound quality issues to Ops team and log all receipts systematically

- Complete putaway of received inventory based on system location assignments

- Perform bin-to-bin transactions within the storage area and make adjustments in inventory system to reflect physical moves

- Replenish forward locations with reserve stock in a timely manner and ensure system inventory levels are updated

- Replenish production area with raw materials and supplies, and ensure stock moves are logged systematically

- Manage receipt and cataloguing of returns as well as putaway of refurbished products to inventory

- Report missing warehouse racking/bin labels when found and relabel product according to shipment and storage needs

- Perform bin checks and physical counts on inventory as requested, and report other inventory issues to team leader

- As needed, provide assistance in the scanning, packing list creation, and shipping of finished goods

- Remove trash and recycling from aisleways and keep a clean work environment

- Perform other duties as assigned

Who You Are:

- 2+ years experience in receiving/putaway, replenishment, and/or inventory control within a warehouse environment.

- Shipping/packing experience a plus.

- Previous experience working in ERP/MRP/WMS platforms and ability to pick up new software systems

- Must have experience in Google drive and MS Office Suite

- Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented

- Entrepreneurial and resourceful spirit; you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and take initiative to problem-solve when something doesn’t add up

- Experience with pallet jacks and loading/unloading freight shipments

- Physical demands: Moderate physical activity such as the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend down, and reach overhead. Ability to lift/carry up to 30 lbs.

Need to Have:

- High School diploma or equivalent

- 2 years experience in putaway, replenishment, and/or inventory control within a warehouse environment.

- Previous experience working in ERP/MRP/WMS platforms and ability to pick up new software systems

At Pair, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. The pay range for this position is expected to be $18-22/hr and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
