One-Cycle Control, Inc. (OCC) is a growing premium company in power and energy space, offering ground-breaking technology and power electronics products for the clean energy market. OCC manufactures high-density, fast-response, and high-reliability power converters. Our award-winning modular products serve as building blocks for power rectifiers, inverters, energy storage, grid stabilization, micro-grid, industrial, and defense applications.
OCC is located in the vibrant coastal area of southern California, which has spring-like weather year-round, beautiful beaches and mountains, highly educated communities, diverse cultures, a safe environment, and the best public school systems in the US.
We are in the phase of ramping up production. We aim to supply high-quality American power converter products at a high volume production rate and create jobs in California.
We have an opening for a power electronics equipment testing and maintenance technician.
Job description:
1. Setup facility and instrumentation for testing
2. Exercise electrical safety protocols
3. Perform function testing, hi-pot testing, burn-in testing, and validation according to the test procedures
4. Record/report the test result
5. Dubug power converter and subsystems
6. Assist in continuous improvement of test procedures and test facility
7. Execute product quality control and quality assurance
8. Organize/maintain tools, equipment, and facility
Qualification:
A BS degree or Associate degree with experience in electrical engineering is required. High-voltage experience is a plus. Ability to read work orders, follow production drawings, written/verbal instructions, and sample assemblies. Electronic instruments and mechanical hand tools experience. Ability to efficiently and effectively manage time and carry out orders. Good written and verbal communication skills. Attention to detail, motivated, self-reliant, and honest.
