We are seeking Anodize Operator Type I, II, III. Class I, Class 2 experienced with Hard Anodize (Type III) for a location in Stanton.

ITAR REQUIREMENT:
Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the
employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans processes and sequence of the operation to complete plating with the following processes Anodize Type I, II, III. Class I, Class 2, Hard Anodize
Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches or specification to set the voltage and amperage required.
Dips the metallic parts into acid tanks to clean parts.
Dips the metallic parts into finishing tanks and monitors parts.
Performs visual inspection of plated parts as well as inspection tools to ensure uniform plating on all surface areas are completed.
Racks parts before and after plating.
Logs data into computer for completed parts and processes.
Adheres to safety regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to communicate, read and understand English.
Ability to interpret blueprints and purchase orders.
Ability to follow instructions, specifications and plating procedures.
Knowledge using calipers, micrometers, pin gauges.
Experience of procedures to run acid tanks and equipment set up for plating.
Possess good attention to detail to identify problems with parts.
Comfortable using a computer for data entry.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Walking/Standing for prolonged periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Exposed to heat, noise and chemical fumes while in production areas.
Good hand and eye coordination and movement.
