Job Description: As a Shop Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our facility. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Shop Expeditor Department: Collaborate with the shop expeditor team to ensure timely completion of orders and maintain an efficient workflow.
Incoming Order Sorting: Receive, sort, and accurately place incoming orders for processing.
Leak Testing Cylinders: Perform leak tests on cylinders to ensure they meet safety standards.
Shop Clean-Up: Regularly clean and organize work areas to maintain a clean and organized shop environment.
Bathroom and Shop Floor Cleaning: Clean bathroom facilities and shop floors to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Trash Removal: Safely dispose of trash and waste materials from the shop area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but a willingness to learn is essential.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment when necessary.
