Direct Stone Tool Supply is a leading wholesale supplier to the stone tool trade with locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Utah, Oregon and Washington. As business continues to grow, we need to add a Warehouse/Production Helper/Delivery Driver at our San Clemente location in California. Most delivery's and Vendor pickups are in Southern California.We will require a few overnight trips from time to time.The Selected candidate must have valid driver license and will be required to pass a pre-placement drug screen and background check.
Job Requirements:
Must be at least 25 years of age (for vehicle insurance purposes)
Must possess a current valid California Driver License
Must have clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Must be able to handle and maneuver a variety of materialssingle items weighing up to 75 lbs and pallets (utilizing pallet jack) weighing up to 2,000 lbs.
Must have legal right or authorization to work in the United States
Must be able to Pass Drug Screening
Additional qualities considered an advantage:
Current, valid California Drivers License
Bi-lingual in Spanish
Experience driving delivery truck
Warehouse experience including forklift and pallet jack usage
Attention to detail
Core Job Duties:
Daily maintenance check of forklifts and delivery truck
Preparing and verifying orders that will be shipped
Preparing and verifying orders for customer pick-up
Receiving and stocking product delivered to Warehouse
Loading trucks for delivery
Making deliveries to and from customers and/or vendors
Unloading product at each delivery destination
Keeping accurate and complete delivery and maintenance records and logs
Cleaning and organizing Warehouse
Assisting Manufacturing with assembly of products to as needed
Willing to Travel Overnight
