We are looking for a skilled welder/fabricator for full time day shift position. A good understanding of how to use shop tools safely (table saw, drill press, bandsaws, grinders etc.) Wages are based on experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Knowledge of all types of welding including; mig/tig, electric, oxy-acetylene, and with steel.
Knowledge and ability to safely operate equipment such as but not limited to: plasma cutter, press brake, iron worker, metal shear, band saw, cold saw, box and pan brake, drill press, grinder, hydraulic pipe bender, and metal milling machine;
Thorough understanding of machines and tools used in welding including designs, uses, maintenance and repair.
Understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments
Ability to fabricate from drawings, blueprints and sketches;
read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Maintains and follow the safe work environment and follow OSHA requirements.
Ability to safely work in a confined space and from elevated platform
Standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and reaching with the hands and/or arms, in the yard, or field areas
Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, on an on-going basis
