Excellent opportunity for a dynamic person to join a cable manufacturing company as an Assembler in Anaheim, CA. The successful candidate will manufacture cables, wire harnesses and other electro-mechanical assemblies from component level parts.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:
Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures installing components, units, subassemblies, wiring, crimping, soldering, plugging stripping, routing, inspecting, and potting.
Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports in order to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.
Support other co-workers by explaining assembly procedures or techniques
Set up and maintain a clean working environment at all times
Maintain good communication with the Manager of issues that arise during shift period.
Understand and follow all safety policies, codes, and procedures
Performs other related duties as assigned.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
Previous experience in a Manufacturing environment
Experience in: stripping cable, terminate cable, crimping terminals/contacts, soldering - assembling and inspecting cable and wire harnesses, familiar with hand crimping tools for standard terminal contacts (AMP, Tyco, Molex, D-sub…)
Skills:
Capable to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations).
The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
Follow detail instructions (verbal and written)
Must be capable to operate cutters, wire strippers, crimpers, heat guns, solder irons, etc.
Meet strict deadlines
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of measurements

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
