Family Connections AFHA program at My Day Counts is looking for caring and skilled individuals and families who are interested in becoming a Family Home Provider for an adult with an intellectual or other developmental disability.
Family Home Providers receive a generous monthly stipend, ongoing support from My Day Counts staff, and assistance from other members of the individual's support network.
WHAT IT TAKES TO BECOME A FAMILY HOME PROVIDER:
⢠Pass a background check
⢠Provide a comfortable private bedroom in your home
⢠Be 21 years of age or older
⢠Have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
⢠A desire to help and make a difference
*All interested applicants must pass extensive clearance and training process prior to placement in your home.
