Join us for door to door canvassing throughout Orange County!
We are canvassing in support of progressive candidates and causes. Working on our campaigns involves signature gathering, persuasion, and mobilization of voters.
Qualifications:
The canvasser position is an entry-level position. No experience with canvassing is necessary. Successful applicants, however, will have the following characteristics:
-Punctual and reliable
-Good communication skills
-Outgoing personality
-Enjoys meeting and talking to people
-Energetic and enthusiastic
-Committed to advancing immigrants’ rights, renters' rights, and workers’ rights
-Interested in/passionate about voting and civic participation
-We take the health and safety of our team very seriously. We strongly prefer that candidates are vaccinated or willing to get vaccinated before starting for the safety of yourself and those you will be working with
Terms of Employment:
-The Community Canvasser position is a full-time position (part-time options available, minimum 3 shifts/week)
-Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
-The Community Canvasser position is a temporary position from now until November 5th, 2024
-Canvassers with interest and demonstrated capacity will also have the opportunity for promotion to leadership positions on our canvass team.

Pay: $25.00 per hour. There is also a stipend for drivers with proof of insurance.
Salary range: $25/hr-$25/hr.
Schedule:
Our current canvass schedule is as follows (all times are subject to change):
Saturday: 10-6:30pm
Sunday-Tuesday, Friday: 11:30-8pm
Weds and Thurs: off.
