We are a family owned and operated Machine Tool Import business for over 45 years looking for an administrative assistant to fit with our small team.
Main Duties:
- Answering incoming calls, data entry, filing, email correspondence with dealers and customers.
- Primary shipping & freight contact. Get quotes, generate bills of lading and direct truck drivers.
- Maintain office supply inventory and troubleshoot office equipment issues.
- Basic Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable duties
- Complete special projects as required (i.e. coordinate travel, Trade show prep, marketing support, holiday office decor, etc)
- Assist with Social Media Updates
- Run errands, coordinate and pickup bi-monthly lunch for the team.
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills—over the phone, in person, and in writing.
- Must be Punctual
- Organized with a strong attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Google sheets.
- Self motivated problem solver who can multitask.
- Team player with a good attitude who will assist in the warehouse when needed.
- Minimum 40 WPM typing skills
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
Assets (not a requirement):
- AP/AR experience a plus
- Bilingualism Mandarin Chinese a plus
- Previous experience in machine tools industry a plus.
- Mechanically inclined a plus.
Office Hours are Mon - Fri 7:30am - 4:00pm
