This role involves preparing and submitting accurate customs documentation, ensuring full compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, and maintaining clear communication internally and with customers and government agencies.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
3+ years of experience working under the supervision of a customs house broker or equivalent experience in customs entry writing or import operations
Comprehensive understanding of U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classification, and import documentation.
Experience with customs software (e.g., Descartes, CustomsNow, or equivalent).
Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Ability to multitask and strong communication skills (Both written and verbal)
Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
