Flagship Healthcare Center is looking for a Receptionist / Weekend Admissions Coordinator
Our mission statement- To enhance and inspire the lives of all we serve: our team members, our patients, our residents and our families. In this role you will be the first face visitors see when entering the facility. Your job will be to ensure their first impression of the building is warm and inviting. You will work side by side with the admissions and marketing team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer calls with a warm greeting
- Transfer calls to appropriate department
- Welcome visitors and direct them to proper rooms
- Interact with patients and families providing excellent customer service
- Give tours of the facility to potential patients sharing what we offer
- Ensure front lobby is clean and organized
- Communicate properly with care managers at the hospital regarding potential admissions
- Tuck in process: walk new admissions to their rooms ensuring they have everything they need and are comfortable
Requirements
- Monday-Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm, need to be available on weekends as well
- Some healthcare experience preferred
- MUST be computer savvy
- Proficient in Microsoft suite
- Must be able to multi-task, answering phones while also verifying benefits for potential patients
- Business casual attire
- Lift 10lbs
