This position is for an C-Store/Gas Station Cashier, and we are offering a competitive starting pay, we are looking for someone energetic that can be able to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment.
Position offers competitive starting pay and paid sick days.
Duties include, but not limited to;
-Greeting customers, completing sales transactions
-Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English
-Capable of being at work as scheduled to relieve prior shift employees
-Able to merchandise, prepare food and maintain store displays
-Stocking the shelves and maintaining station organization
-Verifying customer age for tobacco and credit card sales
-Cleaning the store inside and out
-Stocking shelves (must be able to comfortably lift 40 LBS)
We are currently looking for experienced personnel to join our team. You would be responsible for providing first class service while completing transactions in a quick, efficient, courteous and professional manner.
Key responsibilities of a Cashier include(but not limited to):
Performing all functions relating to the handling of merchandise or cash in accordance with store policy
Contributing to the overall display and presentation efforts within the store environment, including stocking/replenishing merchandise, following visual merchandising guidelines and general store housekeeping duties
Participating in physical inventory counts as required, Communicating all merchandise needs or issues as appropriate to managers
Collecting payment and providing change in a timely and courteous manner
Balancing end-of-day paperwork, including cash, credit cards, and discount coupons with minimal errors, overages or shortages
Experienced Cashier will have a min of 2-3 years of retail cashier and/or sales experience, and exceptional communication skills.
