EZ Gas & Diesel is hiring for a part-time cashier position. We're looking for a high-energy individual seeking part-time hours (16-35 hours per week) for afternoon, evening and weekend shifts. The IDEAL candidate should be a self-motivated individual with great customer service skills who can assist customers in a dynamic environment while following company policies.
Cashier job responsibilities include the following:
1) Assist customers with a friendly smile and provide great customer service.
2) Operate computerized cash register and gas dispenser console
3) Counting and handling cash accurately and properly maintaining a cash drawer
4) Ability to understand and process credit/debit cards, and network gas cards, etc.
5) Stocking shelves and coolers, lifting up to 40 pounds
6) Cleaning (floors, bathrooms, emptying trash containers, etc.)
7) Clean fuel or oil spills around dispensers using absorbent materials.
8) Assist customers with pump / dispenser issues
9) Fill out personal shift reports and perform daily inventory counts, as applicable.
10) Receive and verify delivered merchandise and place in appropriate storage area.
11) And other assignments and tasks as requested

Minimum Qualifications:
1) Ability to communicate (orally and in writing) in English. Bi-lingual a plus
2) 1 year of cashier or similar experience in a retail environment. Gas station experience is highly preferred.
3) High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4) Must have superior customer service skills.
5) Must be 21 years of age
