We’re seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse and Forklift Operator to join our growing team.
1. Receiving & Inspection
Receive incoming shipments of home improvement materials (e.g., flooring, tiles, fixtures, cabinetry).
Inspect all products for damage, quantity accuracy, and correct labeling.
Verify deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
Report any shortages or damages to the warehouse or showroom manager.
2. Inventory Control
Organize, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
Assist in quarterly or annual physical inventory counts.
3. Forklift & Equipment Operation
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials safely.
Load and unload delivery trucks with heavy or bulky products like flooring pallets, countertops, or appliances.
Transport items between the warehouse, showroom, and loading areas.
Perform daily forklift safety inspections and report maintenance needs.
4. Showroom Support
Deliver requested samples, displays, or products to the showroom floor.
Assist the design/sales team in setting up displays, remodeling areas, or staging materials for customer presentations.
Move or rearrange heavy products (e.g., cabinets, tile boards, vanities) for seasonal or promotional setups.
Keep display materials clean, organized, and damage-free.
5. Shipping & Delivery Preparation
Package and prepare materials for customer pickup or delivery.
Coordinate with delivery drivers or logistics teams for efficient scheduling.
Ensure all outgoing orders are complete, properly labeled, and protected from damage in transit.
6. Safety & Housekeeping
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, loading dock, and storage areas.
Ensure aisles are clear and materials are stored securely to prevent accidents.
7. Communication & Teamwork
Provide support for showroom events, customer installations, or large project orders.
5. Cleaning & Facility Maintenance
Sweep, mop, and clean the warehouse, showroom back areas, and loading dock regularly.
Remove debris, dust, and waste materials safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and common areas.
Ensure products and displays are free from dust and smudges to maintain showroom quality.
Report any facility or equipment maintenance issues promptly.
