Security Officer position (armed or unarmed). Work throughout Orange County, occasionally LA County at higher end venues. Work schedule is by use of a flexible, on-line scheduling system. Looking for OFFICER WANTING TO WORK AT LEAST A MINIMUM 3 shifts per week with possibility of 32-40+ hours a week. Some near full time venues; on-going short-term events or variable location type events. Work is Uniform Unarmed or Exposed Weapon Permit and/or Suit & Tie (unarmed as needed by client). ABLE AND WILLING to drive to venues throughout OC and Marina Del Rey for Harbor Cruise details, into SD County occasionally.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: VALID CA GUARD CARD (PREFERRED) or willing to obtain prior to employment. Great Customer Service skills, Honest and Dependable work habits with reliable transportation. NO VISIBLE TATTOO'S DURING WORK SHIFT WHETHER UNIFORM OR PLAINCLOTHES (Your BLACK SUIT, BLACK SHIRT, BLACK TIE for most plainclothes details). Smartphone to access on-line scheduling system. Must have Neat, Clean Professional Appearance. Facial Hair Acceptable, but must be groomed, trimmed and neat for a proper business appearance. Hair color must be naturally occurring color (NO BLUES, GREENS, PURPLE, ETC AS A DYED CONDITION) ABLE AND W-I-L-L-I-N-G TO WORK NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, AND HOLIDAYS (this is a must) as well as normal business hours. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Valid CA Guard Card in place now, Current 1st Aid/CPR Certificate. Valid Exposed Weapon Permit, Baton Permit, Pepper Spray Permit. Prior MILITARY, Prior LE STATUS, Basic Academy Graduates still looking to Hire, CJ Majors; History of Customer Service type employment. Starting Pay for introductory hiring period, which may be higher with sufficient documentable experience in profession. Incremental increases (after first full Quarter) based upon performance, skills, number of shifts worked and staff/peer review process.
