Quick Release is a next-generation boutique consultancy, focusing on addressing the product development challenges of automotive OEMs and start-ups. We work with a range of customers (from start-ups to global brands) to release the untapped potential of their people, systems, processes and data, so they can get their products to market on-time.

The events of the past 18 months have pushed many new product timelines back and Quick Release finds itself perfectly positioned to help clients address the multitude of challenges that have resulted. We are now seeking a Business Development Manager to help us to make the most of this opportunity, to support our continued growth in the US, and to build a long and successful career as a valued member of our amazing team.

The Challenge

Research and identify new business opportunities with new and existing clients.

Gain a deep understanding QR’s service offering and UVP.

Learn from our accounts pillar about previous success, and develop the regional sales strategy and “new accounts” plan of attack.

Get stuck in to engaging and developing new client relationships. Gain their trust and understanding of how we can address their challenges and pain-points, (supported by our technical and projects teams).

Support with strategic farming of existing accounts.

Work alongside US Business Leaders to build a better, stronger Quick Release business in North America.

You will need…

A minimum of 2 years’ experience of consultative sales of products or services within the automotive industry – you know how these organisations make decisions and how their decision makers think.

The proven ability to win hearts and minds to gain trust.

The motivation to own your work, together with the organisation and time-management skills to work effectively and independently.

The technical and analytical skills to understand what we do and for detailed reporting and accountability.

The passion, resilience and the energy and enthusiasm to make a real difference for clients and the Quick Release team.

Extra dose of awesome if you have…

A network of automotive contacts ready to go.

Experience of selling consultancy services.

Used a range of CRM technologies.

Line management experience.
