Job Posting: Independent Contractor for Senior Salon/Memory Care
We are looking for a skilled Cosmetologist to join our team and serve residents in a nursing home/memory care setting.
Responsibilities:
-Provide haircuts, dyeing, and styling services for men and women.
-Offer manicures and pedicures tailored to elderly needs.
-Perform beard, nose, and ear trimming as requested.
-Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for senior clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with elderly clients, particularly in nursing home, memory care, or similar settings.
- Knowledge of safe grooming techniques for seniors.
- Must be a Licensed Cosmetologist
- Must have your own liability insurance policy
Job Hours and Scheduling:
-Flexible hours to suit your schedule.
-Services are needed every other week, typically for one or two days, depending on client demand.
-Hours vary depending on your pace of work and the number of clients scheduled that week. This means you can finish
earlier while earning the same amount if you work efficiently.
- A pre-established book of business is ready for you.
-Employer support is available for learning billing procedures and scheduling.
Additional Information:
This is an independent contractor position with a variable number of clients per month due to fluctuating nursing home occupancy. Employer will provide on-site training and demonstrate their system for scheduling, accounting, and other organizational aspects of the job.
