We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our Wellness team. Under the supervision of the Director of Wellness, as a dedicated professional, the Massage Therapist demonstrates teamwork, flexibility, and a grounded presence that supports both Members and colleagues. They approach each interaction with understanding and adaptability, creating a welcoming environment where every Member feels seen and supported. With a strong commitment to health and well-being, the therapist meets Members where they are on their individual wellness journeys, helping them progress at their own pace through attentive care, thoughtful communication, and consistent professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide customized massage and body treatments based on Member needs and preferences.
Guide Members through the Spa Menu and recommend beneficial treatments.
Use spa products in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Maintain accurate scheduling and prep time using Mindbody Software.
Ensure timely arrival and departure for appointments.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with California safety standards.
Restock inventory and report monthly back bar usage to the Spa Director.
Build positive relationships with Members, noting specific injuries or ailments.
Collaborate respectfully with Front Desk Attendants and team members.
Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
Report concerns or feedback promptly to management.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the spa’s operations.
Qualifications:
Valid California Massage Therapy Certification.
Proficiency in multiple massage modalities.
Experience using Mindbody or similar scheduling software preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion at all times.
Work Schedule:
Must arrive 15 minutes prior to appointments and clock out no later than 15 minutes after.
Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
