Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tenant Improvement Superintendent to oversee and manage tenant improvement projects from start to finish. As a Tenant Improvement Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate all aspects of the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage all on-site activities for tenant improvement projects.
Ensure compliance with construction plans, specifications, and building codes.
Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections.
Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
Communicate regularly with clients, project managers, and subcontractors to provide updates and address any concerns.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project timelines.
Review and approve project-related documentation, including change orders and punch lists.
Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
Collaborate with the project team to identify and implement process improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in tenant improvement or commercial construction.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
